Sreepuram Nursery School took birth in the year 1984 with the inception of one division of LKG with strength of 45 tiny tots. This prestigious institution was started by Rev Fr. Luke Pathiyil, with the fervent support of H.E. Mar Kuriakose Kunnachery, who was then bishop of Kottayam and with enthusiastic support of the local population, Sreepuram grew in leaps and found to a high school and now a junior college.
We now have 18 divisions comprising to LKG and UKG with 785 children on roll. We also have a play school having 55 children on roll. The play school is furnished with attractive furniture, toys, and play materials for the children. There are 2 teachers to help them with their studies and ayahs to look after the children with their basic needs. The school campus comprises of an attractive amusement park fully shaded and will equipped of play materials for the children.
It also has an attractive garden and parking space for all vehicles.
Co-curricular activities of the school are planned and accomplished with the support of the management and PTA. The PTA functions effectively with the activities of the school.
There are variety entertainments for the celebrations of Onam, Teacher’s day, Children’s Day, Independence Day and Christmas. Rally and sports are conducted on children’s Day. Prizes and sweets are distributed on all occasions. Picnics are also a part of the curriculum.
To promote the healthy competitive spirit and literary talents in our children, various competitions are conducted. The children also take part in various competitive examinations conducted by agencies in the district as well as the state level. Our children bag scholarships in all the examinations.
